Maddie that's great, where has your brother been though - travelling?
One more UU for me - Soft & Gentle Sensitive Spray Deodorant. WBA, but I won't need to since I have about 25 S&G deodorants from a glitch last year that made them 20p each!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Evening ladies'
Maddiemay, what fantastic news about your brother, may he continue to gain strength everyday, your family must be so pleased to have him home again, xo
No uu's, I think that this will probably be a slow month as everything in current use is full size and recently opened.
A freebie in to declare, a sample sized shiseido cleanser free with Marie Claire, seems to be a store specific offer.
Happy pampering, xo0 -

Hi Kadison, my brother was taken ill on Dec 5th, airlifted to a major teaching hospital, had 2 BIG operations and 2 smaller ones and kept in an induced coma for 35 days in order to control his rather wayward blood pressure. He is 50 with 3 children at home and previously a big strong guy. To cut to the great news he is making a good recovery and arrived home on Thursday evening, the aim (we are told) is for him to recover his strength and then return to hospital in 3 months for another serious operation. The ladies here have been amazing, I asked them for positive thoughts for him (and me) and they could not have been more supportive. Stick around if you can, this is one of the best places ever to hang out.:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

1 TA and 2 UUs
TA - Soap and glory girligo moisturising mist. WBA and have 1 large and small in the stash. I love this as it has a lovely smell (it's been open over a year and hasn't changed in smell) and for me it is the best way to moisturise. I get lazy with it and hate putting cold gloopy creams on, but found this better suited as you spray and rubAlot less hassle! :T
UU - Boots baby all in one wash. WNBA, it had a nice smell although i prefer johnsons and found this didn't bubble as much. I also have about 12 bottles of Simple baby wash in the stash thanks to them being sold at 50p a bottle :rotfl:
UU - Soap and glory bubble bath. Love the smell of this and find it very creamy. The smell whilst soaking in the bath is quite nice, although i also loved a Radox bubble bath which i used when i was pregnant, and it was a fifth of the price. Don't think i'd buy it again as i was happy enough with my £1 bottle of radox! :rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a nice evening, i am currently plonked on the sofa watching terrible tv with my cat taking up half the room! :rotfl:0 -
That's great news Maddie :j

Sunshineday, I have read about this as well. It would be great if you could share which store (i.e Sainsbury's) sell this.
ThanksNo toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
I have an IN - the freebie L'Octainne hand cream. I've not tried it before but know a lot of people on here like it. I got the Shea Butter one but afterwards remmeber that I'm not a fan of the BS shower gel which I feel is too masculine. I should have got the lavender
hopefully my boyfriedn will also get a voucherLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.

I will! That's fantastic news, that's such a long time to be in hospital, I bet he was ecstatic to be home!
On other news, I've had my first NBI since joining, went onto Nails Inc to send the link of the gorgeous NI polish I've got on to a friend, and found myself on the pick n mix page going "oooooo I like that!" at about 3 different ones, so I logged off a bit sharpish! £65 saved as I probably would have gone mad and bought 10! :eek:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
