Can I update straight from Gingerbread to Jellybean ??
Options
Hi all,
I've had my S2 for a year now, love it, but I think it's time to bite the bullet and upgrade the Android version. I can find info on how to upgrade (I'm feeling a bit nervous about it, must admit), but can't find anything that clarifies whether I can do the upgrade straight from gingerbread top jellybean, or whether I HAVE to upgrade to ICS first.
Can anyone confirm pls

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

Simple answer is yes you can go straight to JB. As long as the JB update has been released for your phone.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0

If JB has been released for your phone and the update is available for your individual phone .
Two routes to Samsung upgrades One OTA on phone via settings software update .
Method two is via Samsung's Kies software .
Again your individual phone must have an update pushed out by the provider .
The third way would be to join an Android forum and flash a stock JB rom via Odin .
