Asda Mobile - Launch date

Hi,

Does anyone have the details for Asda launching there mobile service like tesco's?

Should I opt for Orange or wait for Asda?

I really want to swop to orange contract in a few months time. I take it porting from orange Pay and Go to orange contract will mean I will lose the good deals as they have different plans for non customers/ and existing customers?

ASDA in Hartlepool had a display full and are selling the phones now.

Cheapest was a Nokia 1112 (or may have been 1116) at £19.99

SIM only available 'free' with a £10 top up

Rates are 16p per min for first 3 mins then 8 p .

Texts 10p for first 3 then 5p each.

Orange have introduced some new tariffs. All calls (inc cross net) can be had for 15p per min.

All depends on how many calls per day you make. If ive done my sums right up to 6 mins per day asda or t mobile are cheapest unless you pay £15 per month top up for talkalotmore and call off peak when you get 150 mins free.

Isnt the mobile market getting too complicated!!
