How do I delete my Facebook account

Hello ,how do I delete my Facebook account please? Does anyone know ? I've not really used it and am asking big changes in my life and want to close it
I've been looking on Facebook and can't see the answer

Go into security and close account, there are different levels, eg you can remove but re-activate later.
If you really want it gone, post some serious tripe on there and they will block the account.

Account. security then at the bottom you can deactivate it...And everything will disappear from your timeline.

Good plan.

You have to deactivate it; and after a while if you don't login then it's deleted.

On the right hand side under your name is in grey "Facebook@2013
Under that in blue are some choices the last one in blue is "More "
Click this
At the bottom of the box that appears
Click "Help"
On the next page click the arrow next to "Manage My Account"
This then gives you some choices, one of them is "Deactivating, Deleting and Memorialising Accounts.
Click this and follow the advice & instructions!!
You need to do this to do what you want.

I deactavated my account a while ago. Got sick of all the adverts and companies that are on there now. Remember deactavate and not delate.Then you have to leave it for a time i think it was week and it is done. Dont try and log on in this time or it cancels the deactivation and returns everything back.
If you still have problems there type it in your browser. There are some good sites that will show you how.
