Charged MMS for a text message...
Has anyone come across the problem of being charged the cost off a MMS for a text message because it contains an email address?
I sent a group text message with 10 recipients. For 1 of the recipients I only had an email address. Little did I know that by adding them to the list and sending I would be charged for 10 MMS. I phoned 02 and they said it is not there fault it's the iphones fault. It’s not there fault but yet their the ones making the money from this problem, I wonder how many people a day are doing this without realising. I would say it’s a nice little earner for the networks.........

Sending an email is using data, not a text message, so that makes sense. Sucks that they charged for ten rather than just one though.0
