  • where in the garden would be the best place to put this, so the birds can find and use it?

When I clean out the bluetit birdbox after the chicks have fledged, I reline it with TD fluff. The bluetit sleeps in the box over the winter, and in spring builds up her new nest on top of the bedded-down fluff. Any other fluff I either compost or toss onto the nearest bit of garden - either the birds will find it, or it will compost down anyway.
If I'm over the hill, where was the top?
  • Hi, wondering if the dryer fluff is safe for hamster bedding?????
  • that is soooo nice :)

i dont think it would be ok for hammy bedding, the woolen fluffy type isnt and it probably wouldnt be easily digestable. I get a 4 pack of tesco loo roll 45p and shred it xxx

I compost the tumble dryer fluff, the dogs hair, human hair from our brushes and combs and also the contents of the dyson....if the birds want any of it they can help themselves to it from the compost heap :-)

My family roll their eyes when they see me taking the fluff from the dyer to the garden I'm now going to take great delight in telling them that there are more people like me
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.
