3 Phone Bill card payment ignored...

Options
There was a mix up with my direct debit for my phone bill in December, leading to my bill not being paid on time. They said that I could pay the full amount (2 months worth) in January's bill. I said I'd rather pay Decembers bill now to spread the cost.

I thought this would be easy enough because they have a pay by card function on their website. I did this and the money went from my account under the description '3-Maidenhead', but there were 2 transactions, one for £30 (the bill total) and one for £2, as it was one of those tests and they'd refund the £2 later.

I forgot about it until I got my January bill today, they've taken the 2 months worth as a direct debit under 'H3G', completely ignoring that I've already paid Decembers bill by card and they've not refunded the £2 they took for a test. There's no sign of the card transaction on my 3 account or bill, the only proof I have is my statement.

Has anyone had this issue before? I'm slightly concerned as a google search of '3-Maidenhead' brings up alot of forum posts about spam.

I've contacted them but just waiting for a reply.
