Hi CTC,
Hope it works well for you.
Sorry I got distracted and did not get around to answering your previous question.
The payment receipt you print/mail/text to the customer doesn't identify you but just shows the normal info like transaction type, amount, last 4 digits of card number etc.
Your bank statement I think appears as "Streamline" (OH who deals with the banking not here to confirm at the moment).
Not actually sure what appears on the customers bank statements as I have not asked anyone but I expect WorldPay would answer that.
Bit of news - WorldPay have just put up a few videos which might be of interest while you are waiting for your new toy

and a BIG THANK YOU for the links...I must admit I think I might have been a bit confused without them:cool::D

Hi
I've been using the Worldpay device for a few weeks now on my iphone. There are a few bits of confusion is thread I can help with...
Your own business name does appear on the cardholders statement (you can choose this when you signup) - and you can also do telephone orders via the website.
On your own statement you will see "Streamline" as the money comes in to your own account. You don't need a merchant account, just a normal personal or business account in the UK.
They have a few different price options at the moment, checkout mobile.worldpay.com/pricing-options for details.
Personally I love it! Takes Visa, Maestro and MasterCard quickly with full Chip and PIN -0 -
I've just had a look at the WorldPay site and it say's the payment options all require a payment for the reader itself of around £60. Has this only just changed or am I being thick?
Cheers0 -
Yes, it has changed.
At the time of the posts above it was free for the trial period but they now charge a one off payment for the terminal of £59.99 (£49.99 +VAT). They have also adjusted the transaction charges a little - an extra 10p on the flat charge for debit cards but a reduced percentage for credit cards.
The only similar system I have seen have just increased their terminal price to £100 so WorldPay is still a good deal.0 -

intuit still offer a free reader and 2.75% across the board..
Although I think worldpay will be following suit, as there's a poll about it when you login to their site..lets hope they do.. 75p is a little high for lower value transactions, also PayPal are due to release similar this month, with what I believe is a similar charging structure.
Just to answer one of the questions, on the customer bank statement it shows your business name as you chose when signing up, I done a test transaction when I got mine a couple of days ago, I got impatient whilst playing with my new toy
As for the device and how it works, its excellent, pretty much completely automated apart from inputting the amount to charge and then the receipt.0 -
