They're better deals than on their website, where you only get the discount for 6 months - http://store.virginmedia.com/bundles/our-collections.html.Hi Guys ,

I pay £58 a month for similar to the Premiere Collection, but only have 30mb broadband. The £58 includes phone line rental and Talk Unlimited though.A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting.0 -
the premier is 6omgs
the essential is 30mgs.
Any other thoughtts ?
I can pass on the details . of the offer0 -
I've been offered this through work as well under teh affinity partner scheme. We're on Sky at the momnent and out of contract on all the elements and soooo tired of rubbish bband service so have decided to go for the Virgin Premier deal. However there's a delay as apparently they ahev to check that your payroll number is correct so now have the frustration of waiting for our payroll team to process it first. I hate waiting

I filled out the form and 2 days later i was infomred via email that its been ok`d . started having virgin call me ref this to set it up. but stalling to find out the general concensus.
Im weighing up this against the offer on the virgin website which is very simular to this, i cannot see any differnece Tbh. And the sky offer that is being given away on monday via codes. on MSE .
If they offer a improoved offer on that which they did to my friend then ill consider.
whats your thoughts?0 -
Whether or not it is a good deal depends on what you are looking for. Virgin has the benefit of cheaper fiber Broadband, Sky has more channels and can be cheaper if taking sports/ movies.
Whether one is cheaper than the other is down to priorities really. Don't forget that Sky, Virgin, Bt etc. want you to have all your services with them. For a good number of people this is not the way to go. Have a look at broadbandchoices.co.uk - they are an ofcom approved comparison site... saved my friend a fortune. My user name is SkyInsider... I worked for Sky quite some time ago, also worked for Virgin Media and a few other tech companies as a consultant. All views are my own
