  • Hi mollyjester,

Thanks for making me aware of your concerns.

To enable me to look into matters further could you email me with your details via the link in our profile here?

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it will take you to the Contact us form on our website.

To ensure that it reaches me could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line and once our automated reply arrives update the thread with your email reference number and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?

    Thanks,

    Lee

    Hi Lee

Thanks for picking this up, I called customer services who were less than helpful so e-mailed customer relations before I saw your message. They have confirmed that the person who agreed by contract mistakenly put it through as 18 months but offered me 12 months (it was in the notes). They have confirmed my actual renewal date is 8 March and invited me to contact you to arrange for a new phone.

    Thanks

    Molly

Where I start to disbelieve, is that Vodafone stopped 12 month minimum terms (NOT contacts) several years ago and is one of the reasons I don't us them - only SIM only provides this.

So an issue of credibility arises.

Hate to prove a cynic wrong but I was offered 12 months extract from the e-mail from vodafone:

"I have checked your contract term and can see that it’s showing 18 month.
I have checked your account notes and can see that previously we have offered you a 18 months contract and after that we have offered you a 12 months contract.

But by mistakenly that advisor forgot to change the commitment term. However, I have changed the commitment term from 18 months to 12 months and now the contract expiry date is 08/03/2013"
