Got my list down a bit - think the kitchen is my room of doom so have attacked that first and done the [STRIKE]huge stack[/STRIKE] little bit of washing up that was on the worktop
. Cleared and bleached all the worktops and the table and generally tidied up in there.
Going to walk Pip and will sort the bathrooms later.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
That's funny mrsmoneypenny!
When clearing out my hall cupboard after my husband left I found 8kgs of Rowntrees Tutti Fruttis!!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
RoD (study) now quite tidy
Levels 1 and 2 DONE
2 eB@y parcels posted, as well as one to my DS1 (with bits that had been cluttering up my desk)
Still to do today:
Sort resources for this afternoon's course - URGENT
Deliver flowers to kind friend
Shopping on way home from course
Fill in POAF
Print out POAH and notes
Sympathy card to Germany
Wrap DH's birthday presents and write card
Ring R at about 4.30
Ring plumber re silly boiler which keeps cutting out
Think about plans for Sunday
mrs-mp - is it a case of "finders keepers"? Is the bag eB@yable if not claimed or wanted by a member of your household? I just keep finding empty biscuit packets in the drawers next to DH's desk
There are now 16 people watching one of DH's eB@y items - model railway enthusiasts obviously have money to spare
Thinking of you today, Dragon, and everyone else awaiting test results / doctor's appointments / pre-op assessments etc.

I may mention it when i see the doctor.....
I LOL'd loudly at that: then again, I'm old enough to remember the programme and understand the implications...
Bin, shredder and Dy$on emptying session tonight, not to mention taking the paper recycling. Him Indoors is over at his Mum's till tomorrow; he found another 14 box files of paperwork to go with the 20 we dealt with at the end of last year. (His late Dad looked after all the paperwork and kept everything so we had to get it to a manageable state to enable his Mum to have any hope of getting to grips with it.) So I think he was off to the recycling with a van load of paper and a binbag of shreddings.

Good afternoon, i`ve now managed to do my flying.
1. Cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom
2. Only needed to do 2 loads of washing today, out on the
line now as TD is not getting fixed.
3. Gave each bedroom 15 min blitz, but spent another 30 mins
sorting through DS2 draws and waldrobe.
4. Will need to make some bread and scones for packups tomorrow
5. Sort though some bits for ebay.
6. Try and sort out some sort of meal planning for next month.Grocery Challenge 2013: July week 1 £90/£87.41

Hello!
Can I join in , please? I try to keep my house tidy, what's is not easy with 7 months old baby in tow. Today I hoovered, changed cats tray and done some clearance in cupboard . I gave things we no longer need to the charity shop. I want also to clean my bathroom and do some ironing.0 -
Hello ladies - I'm in now... and for the rest of my maternity leave! I followed when working and when off pre birth but never posted - now I am off with a 1 month old and need motivating! Am not expecting to be able to do everything everyday but will keep me on the straight and narrow
(although baby is waking as I type which doesn't bode brilliantly!!)
Monday Rooms of Doom and Bathrooms

15 minutes or more tidying/decluttering in your RofD
Clean sink and toilet, wipe the dust that settles on the back of the toilet pipes
Level Two
Clear and wipe one surface in the RofD (or bathroom)
Empty the bins
Level Three
Clear out the bathroom cupboard, bin anything yucky and old
Descale the toilet and taps - vinegar!

Will have a go after feeding - MIL is visiting tomorrow so bathroom and kitchen need a whizz round at the minimum - would like to have a go in the entrance room as well... that is my ROD (plus at a glance I can see hubby has been adding some doom )
