    Good morning all:wave:
Thanks Dustykitten for starting this weeks thread.

I was pleased with myself last week, as I managed to get all my flying done during the week, which left the weekend for family:D.

Not too sure which ones, are my rooms of dome, as they always get cluttered again once the kids get back from school. So i`ll decide while i`m taking the dog for his walk on the way to school.

I think the bathroom, kitchen and conservatory are my worst enermy.

Monday Rooms of Doom and Bathrooms
    Level One
15 minutes or more tidying/decluttering in your RofD
Clean sink and toilet, wipe the dust that settles on the back of the toilet pipes
    Level Two
Clear and wipe one surface in the RofD (or bathroom)
    Empty the bins
    Level Three
Clear out the bathroom cupboard, bin anything yucky and old
Descale the toilet and taps - vinegar!
    Hoover and wash the floors
    Extras
    HHI
    Wipe the bath panel
    Clean a window

    Jobs for today:
    Doctors appointment.
    HHI
load of washing x 3 (depending on which rooms I do)
    make all beds
    Grocery Challenge 2013: July week 1 £90/£87.41 :D
    week 2 £90.00/£118.38:eek: week 3 £90/£60.54:jweek4 £90/£79.90 week5 £45/£00
    End of mortgage april 2030
Mortgage overpayment from june 2013 aiming for £400 a month: £451
Emergency fund 2013 from june £70
  • I've just phoned the GP to make an appointment - the music they played whilst they kept me on hold was the theme tune to Randall and Hopkirk Deceased.... I'm not sure how I feel about that really....

I may mention it when i see the doctor.....

I asked to see a woman doctor, and the recetionist asked if i could tell her what it's for. I countered with 'Do you have a spare half hour?'

I do hope that today picks up!

    Good luck to the Dragon...

    morning all
hugs kind thoughts and good wishes where needed
im going to treat the kitchen as the ROD today (but its really the spare bedroom) reason im targeting the kitchen is heating packed up yesterday, so heating fixing person is out later today, im hoping its easy to fix and not expensive. worst bit was the emersion wont come on either cant work out why they both decided to die the same day. i could have coped with no heat (we got the plug in il filled rad out of the attic and put on the landing) but i missed my bath last night (ended up having a couple of kettles to wash in the sink) and having to use the kettle to do all washing up.
so going to blitz the kitchen so its not too embarrassing when fixer person is here.also planning lots of ironing in an attempt to wrm the house up.:rotfl:

    Morning All

I am in again this week, thanks for the lists Dusty. My RoD is the playroom, so shall be spending 15 minutes in there, to be honest, that’s all it should take to tidy it, as I have storage drawers for all the stuff in there so no excuses!

Hope you are all well. Posting from paid stuff, 8-5 all week so will do what I can when I get home, DS in nightshift this week so he will only give me minimal help, but he can do clubs which will be a big help.

    DragonThinking of you today x

Not too bad for my first proper flying in AGES, bathroom is all sparkly just need to wash the floor. Cleaned the bath and shower screen too even though it wasn't on list.
Also emptied, cleaned and refilled cat litter tray as its in the bathroom.

Just going to have some breakfast now.

    Morning,

Thankfully, I text my boss this morning jkust to check the time of the meeting (they do tend to move around a bit...) and it has been cancelled! So I haven't gone into the office and working from home. Just as well I checked really as that was the only reason I was going in!
So I'm here in my "office" (dining room) with a cuppa and dialled in listening to the most [STRIKE]boring [/STRIKE]interesting business update. So I thought I'd check out the list. :rotfl:

Might need to pop out to @ldi later, DS was most upset that we had the wrong sort of cheese this morning, lol. So we'll see how much flying can be done around paid stuff and shopping...

ive just emptied the airing cupboard
found a few things id forgotten about like a couple of old shower curtains and a bag of aquarium gravel?? but saw something behind the water tank pulled it out and its a shoulder bag with a paris logo on as if its been bought from there. i have never seen that bag before in my life!!! we bought the house brand new so no one else has ever lived in it. weve been here 28 years im at a loss to know how that got there.
i cant even say it must be one of the girls ive just never seen it before.

its bright green and pink and a large shopper type shoulder bag, weird
