Thanks for the list Dusty. I will have a go at the challenge as well. My ROD is the utility room. It becomes a dumping ground and the floor is desperately in need of a mop.

DH has cleaned both bathrooms, my PMT manifested itself in a rant about males and lousy aim.:o

See you all bright and early tomorrow.

I'm in again this week. Thank you Dusty for the new list and Natty for last week's.

My two Rooms of Doom at the moment are my study (which has papers strewn all over the floor) and the DR (which has all the stuff to be eB@yed piled up in it). I have made good progress today in listing the priciest items while it's free, so tomorrow I will carry on and use my 15 min to list a couple of the 99p things, or may even give up entirely and fling everything into the CS box!!!!

DH and I have also made progress with more paperwork this weekend, so we are quite pleased with ourselves.

I am in again this week thanks Dusty. Need to keep focussed and stop wasting time checking on the things I have listed on ebay lol
I know that feeling :rotfl: especially as I listed a model locomotive for DH this afternoon and it has already got 12 watchers and nearly 10 days still to go.

I must pack up a couple of eB@y sales before I go to bed - I'm very pleased with the final auction prices: in one case it's only 50p short of what I paid for the item 6 years ago :)

Glad to hear that young Master Moo had a lovely birthday. Well done Bossy - you are making such happy memories for your children.

CY - a couple of weeks ago I sent you a PM about next weekend - perhaps it never reached you, so I'll try again now.

Hope everyone has a good week. There are lots of (((hugs))), spoons and sticks of all shapes and sizes here if anyone needs them.
  • Message sent ionafan - I must have been psychic!

I'm in! ROD is dining room where everything is dumped by everyone....

Glad to hear the party went well Bossy...

I wimped out of the tennis and went into York. I ended up seeing Amour, a beautiful, but very sad French film. I was very moved...and ultimately it was less depressing than the tennis!

At school we have had a few cases of scarlet Fever - I feel like I must be in a timewarp! - This is 2012 and not 1912 isn't it?

Evening ladies :) Am back in this week.

I don't *really* have a RoD. The family room and the office have the most untouched stuff, so I'll do some time in there for that :)

Clean sink and toilet, wipe the dust that settles on the back of the toilet pipes
    Level Two
Clear and wipe one surface in the RofD (or bathroom)
    Empty the bins
    Level Three
Clear out the bathroom cupboard, bin anything yucky and old
Descale the toilet and taps - vinegar!
    Hoover and wash the floors

    HHI
    Wipe the bath panel
    Clean a window

    Extras for week:
Prepare charity registration docs for new charity for which I'm treasurer (eek!)

I'm in - many thanks Dusty. I like your idea of visualising what the RoD will look like; not sure what the RoD is for me as they're all very chaotic!

Just watched 'Black Swan' with DH - weird film, no idea what was going on but I did my ironing at the same time for the first 30 mins so some good was accomplished!

    Here's my list:

    My jobs:
Put out black bin and recycling (plastics)
Both kids to take Eco-kids bags to school
DS to take football kit to school
Washing up * hangs head in shame *
What’s for dinner: fishfinger and chips (DH fasting)
Collect DS from football club at 4.30
    Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting

Note to self, preparing for an all day Governor visit to a department should not be done the night before the visit

At school we have had a few cases of scarlet Fever - I feel like I must be in a timewarp! - This is 2012 and not 1912 isn't it?

DS3 had it this summer, it is very nasty and can take a good few months to fully recover.

Glass of water and back to the planning, I am limiting myself to a final 30 minutes.

CY - my DS's school has a confirmed case of Scarlet Fever and just before Xmas there was Whooping Cough going around, I had Scarlettina as a teenager and DD has had very mild Whooping Cough - its very frightening to hear them cough - shuddering I am!

Kitchen is a disgrace, LR coffee table is a dumping ground, stairs are a health hazard but I've listed a few bits on Eb@y hehe.I've also made a pact with DD that I'll clear the Landing within 2 weeks and either have it listed on Eb@y or taken to the CS and I'm not about to whimp out on a challenge so I'll be busy listing over the next couple of weeks - not bothered if it only fetches 99p as long as it goes

Dragon - lots of good luck vibes for tomorrow, I hope your news is good

I'm in this week - thank you dusty and thank you natty for last week :A

Every room in my house has an element of doom :o so I'm going to treat EVERY room to 15 mins tidying/decluttering (level 1) and clear & wipe one surface (level 2)

I'm so going to do the visualisation challenge :D

I'm going to try really hard this week :o Luckily our bathroom isn't that bad (seems to be the only room though :o ) and we don't have a ROD :)
I'm going to my best friend's in the morning, she's going to help me sort out my budget again :o but I'll be back to flying in the afternoon :)

    Hope it goes well xx

    :( Poor Tim

This week is the end and the beginning for me. My last pay should be in my account on Thursday. It is no longer possible to report H&S issues in shops anonymously in my borough so I need to wait for all the ££ I'm owed before I do so. I have blood tests booked for next week (earliest it can be done apparently) and a test like Gillian MacKeith used to do this week  I still feel dreadful.

    However this week I will:
    Finish my outstanding OU assignment
Make a good start on the next assignment
Go back on the Di*t Ch*f for the final month
Go on the bike and treadmill every day (even if only for 5 mins on each)
    Submit job application (thanks K!)
Not take any sh*t from anyone

Love, hugs, sticks, spoons, and thanks for the inspiration ladies.

    ETA xx to The Dragon
