Actually we're going mob handed. Me and my mum. Three of my aunts, two of my cousins, my cousins mum-in-law and 9 assorted children ranging from age 16 down to age 2. It's a women and kids holiday lol the menfolk will be left in peace for a while.
Wow that will be some fun holiday. I love big family holidays, unfortunately my brothers only seem to be interested when my Dad is paying - a tad unfair methinks.

Piggers - bit of a dilemma but there's a 6 year age gap between Squeak and Tiddles and also possible clashing of bedtimes that might wake the little ones when the Tiddles goes to bed. I would prob keepthe older girls together but I know you will do whats right for you :)

Well I have cleaned and debugged the living room where DH has been holed up for almost a week. Sent him for a shower while I did it so a big improvement all round in there. Have sorted my cookery magazines which I collect and gutted to find I have 2 missing from the set. Goodness knows wher they are (found the third misisng one in here). WM and TD are being fed regularly and I will need to start dinner soon but unsure what time DD is home from her parade (she never seems to know when I ask her!).

FWIW, if it were me I would probably keep the older 3 together (especially as they are all good sleepers and so close in age) and the younger two together.

Mind you, if it were me I would be permanently running round like a headless chicken :rotfl:

FWIW - I'm with the others - keep the oldest together and the youngest together :]

Done the ironing, there will be more to do once I've finished all the washing and drying but at least its up to date now

Went for a lovely long walk with DH, kiddies and the old dog, he went out very enthusiastically but almost had to be dragged back [the dog, not DH lol] He has been sleeping since!

DD has gone to Nana and is having tea there, DH is at work and won't be home till tomorrow [7.30am] and DS is on PS3 so I'm about to start flitting around the internet :]

    Special thoughts for LL

Thank you for the kind wishes regarding Dog regarding yesterday's problems. She woke up today at 3.30pm and has just been walked and medicated. She is a lot better than I expected her to be. She now can't make up her mind whether she wants to eat dog food with rice, or fishy sardine and rice for 'breakfast'. She keeps wandering between the bowls and licking her lips but won't actually eat. (Not that she's spoiled or anything.) Patchwork quilt cutting out has nearly been completed - yay!
    Better is good enough.

That's good Boddy! Did you actually find out what the problem was (I know someone said their cat had been fighting and had an abscess from a bite but don't remember if that was the same as what your puss had)

  • Well today has been interesting!

Phone rang at 3.30am - those calls are never good, and it was DS - DD2 was having a panic attack. The nightclub called an ambulance and they checked her over - she was well enough to come home in a taxi with DS and her mate!

She is very shaky, and I've never heard him panic like that. I shall keep an eye on her - it seems it all came out of a chance meeting with the ex b/f!

On a lighter note I have just got back from a lovely meet up with ionafan. I will confess I did fully intend to mention our plan on the board so other people could join us - but I've had an interesting week and somehow it never happened.

But we did have a lovely stroll round the Railway Museum and a nice lunch in one of the cafes there!

    Special thoughts for L-L...

Where do you think Tiddles would like to be the most? Are the little ones going to be woken every time somebody goes into the bathroom/toilet?

Done quite well today. DS1 and DS3's bedrooms all clean and tidy. Landing also clean and tidy, just one pile to go in the loft later.

Tomorrow am I want to do our room and DS2's room - only hoovering and dusting, beds are made and tidying done. May get the bathroom done too leaving all week to sort out downstairs.

Must share. My lovely DS2(16) has just taken DS3 to town to buy him a birthday present for tomorrow and into st*rbucks for a drink. All out of his own wages. Those two get on so well together despite the 6 year age gap.
