I thought Woolwich lowest was base+0.17% for lifetime trackers?
I gave up mine when I moved in 2009 as their customer service was so appalling. Now fixed at 4.49% but with offset and fantastic customer service at a little building society.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -
Looks life I'm in the lead at the moment - base + 0.19% so 0.69%! Interest only!!

I am on a base rate tracker and pay 4.74% - but I seem to be paying more interest over paying off the loan... In 7 years, only 1k a year has been deducted of the loan value yet I have paid over 6k a year for the last 7 years. It doesn't make sense to me at all.0

Some very good rates for some of you...me, well just about to start a 5 year fixed at 5.19%! :embarasse0

We did overpay for our houses though.0 -
I have a 2.49% lifetime tracker. Could be better, but I'm very happy with it considering a co-worker is stuck on just over 6% for the next year or so. :eek:marlasinger0

Not the best but...Woolwich 2.18 over base...so 2.68 lifetime tracker.
Well pleased and am ready to switch to a long term fix if the 0.5 base looks under threat.
Ive overpayed something like 30k in two years. I know I could have got better rates in an ISA but theres some pleasure in paying off a mortgage.0 -

I got a 10 Year fix @ 5.99% in April 2007, it reverts to 1% above base rate in April 2017 just in time for the base rate to go through the roof. The only consolation is that I was thinking at the time of fixing for the rest of the term at 5.99%
I have the reverse Midas touch lol0 -
