How would tesco know who you were talking about? I doubt they keep records of every employees private vehicle! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

OP, ignore all the haters on here they are just jealous because you are in line for a massive compensation payout and they're not.
What you need to do is find yourself a good no win no fee solicitor and sue those money grabbing corporate b******** for everything they've got. I recommend Compo, Desperate & Troll they really helped me out when I sued McDonalds because I fell downstairs at home whilst carrying one of their takeout bags.0 -
They may race to your door and saddle you with some burgers..:cool:0

Tesco should make sure everyone goes on a safe driving course...just in case they bump into the OPjust passing through.... Nothing to see....0

Do people really have nothing better to do than make up such pointless threads, I've heard it all now lol. Vouchers would obviously stop his dangerous driving then!0

You do not need compensating.
It was a near miss.....you, he and dog were fine.
Maybe you could sue Ford as he was driving a Mondeo?
Different if he was driving the Tesco van.
If you are serious about pursuing this, you need to pursue with the police for driving without due care and attention, it is them, not Tesco, who would be the ones to be contacting IF this is a valid and true account.0 -

No point in doing that as the police don't give out Tesco vouchers.0 -

Can anyone suggest the best course of action here?
Yesterday evening I was walking my dog near my home and it was still fairly icy with snow on the ground. There was a car on the road ahead of me coming towards me down the hill, and it appeared to be coming very fast. As it came towards me, the driver (who was in Tesco uniform) appeared to lose control and mounted the pavement, narrowly missing me and my dog.
The driver stopped, got out and asked if I was ok, which was appreciated, but I told him he should not have been driving like that and needed to be more careful. He said he was in a hurry as he had finished work late.
I called Tesco customer services to complain about the way one of their staff had been driving, but they claimed there was nothing they can do. Is there any way of pushing them to deal with this properly?
No nothing can be done.
I wonder if the next reply will be "Your all Tesco employees".0
