Can I change my mind regarding a sale to webuyanycar.com?
Hi,
I sold a car to webuyanycar.com last Wednesday and have now had second thoughts about it. I was wondering if there's anything that says I can give them back the money (plus any costs) to get my car back?
I'm just unsure as it doesn't say anything about it on their site and it's unusual in the sense that I am the seller and not the buyer, so just kinda clueless as to what my options are.
Thanks,
S

You might be in trouble here, but of course the best thing to do would be to contact them and ask.
Webuyanycar etc are such scam artists. Last time I sold a car I checked how much they'd pay for it, purely out of interest. I actually sold the car for £1800 more than they quoted... Says it all, really!0 -
You've sold it.
It has gone.
I'm sure they will sell it back to you at the dealer retail price.
It will probably be at CarCraft or CarLand, which are the same company.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Just curious, but why have you changed your mind after the whole deal has been finalised.
You could get it back, only by buying it at the price on the forecourt but it could be long gone by now.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Just because I know I took a stupid offer. If there's any way I can get it back at the price they paid then I'd like to know0

FOOL you got no chancejust because you are paranoid doesnt mean to say they are not out to get you0

At time of desperation we all do things in life that might not be right and with this case it looks like you will have to move on and learn from it unfortunately.0

I would say no, you sold your car. They own the car now.
However, it won't cost you anything to ask them about buying it back but it may be that
*They'll ask a huge difference between what they gave you and what it will cost to buy back
*The car may have gone to an auction
*The car may have been sold on
*The car may have been transported to another part of the country
You don't have any 'rights' as such to change your mind but I'm sure they've dealt with this before0 -
Ok, just asking in case there was some kind of seller's rights that's all.0
