carphone warehouse talk mobile overcharging me?

Hi guys I took out a contract for a htc mobile online with carphonewarehouse and it clearly stated £7.50 a month.

Now had a text saying they debited me £9.50 for the first month, the extra amount seems to be vat although not at all clear. I've hardly used the phone as still usingup my old credit..

anyone had probs with this or can help at all?? I've emailed them to check.

Your first month will be slightly higher as it will be longer than 30 days, after this it will exactly monthly. VAT is inclusive for consumer contracts.

exactly this - from now on it will be £7.50 per month, plus any calls/text/data charges you incur over your inclusive package.
