do you think the bank can do this?
Are you serious? You're disputing a charge that you willingly agreed to because you no longer need the product purchased? I'd be flabbergasted if your bank agreed to this but if they do, I hope Ryanair will take legal action against you.0 -
Insurance wouldn't have covered you anyway - disinclination to travel is not an insurable risk0

I'm not disputing it, I'm just trying to get money back. I'm in the school of if you don't ask you don't get.
You don't need to reply to this. I doubt you'll have anything interesting to add.0 -
Perhaps contact the postponer of the match.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

unfortunately for me the football has been postponed.
I didn't get travel insurance because I'm supposed to have travel insurance with my bank but I've found out that only covers illness or injury.
I've contacted bank to see if I can recall the purchase on my credit card. it's about £70.
do you think the bank can do this?
any other options?
was gonna bring the wife for a day of shopping but the prices have jumped up to near £200
Not a hope in hell - Ryanair are not in breach of contract, the flight is still available for you to take. I too am surprised that you would even consider a chargeback.0 -
I wonder if the OP managed to get his flights sorted.
It would be nice to know if we have helped...0
