Orange mobile contract
Options
I recently took out a new contract with Orange (for my 15 year old son). The plan includes 500mb of internet data. He used about 8mb the first night he got the phone (to set up his apps, etc) and has now connected to the home internet so hasn't had to use anymore of his data.
He's just told me that he's checked his useage online and it tells him that he is being charged £24 for that first 8mb of data
I obviously can't ring Orange and check on it now, but can anyone shed any light on it??

Its not your first months bill is it?
i can't see it being for data use if you have 500mb
Are you shore you have internet on your contract
May be get your son to log-in to the account and have a look for your self.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
Definitely have internet on the contract. I set it up and it's in my name. I have the paperwork in front of me. 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb broadband for £20.20 a month. Guess I'll just have to ring them in the morning.0

have you looked at the online account ziggazee? I have an online contract account with Orange, which includes internet allowance, and I find it very easy to read. Have a look yourself, see what it says. Maybe its the first bill, and its slightly higher than it would normally be per month because of the date you have the direct debit taken out?0

Serves you right for letting him set it up! And in your name too!

This isn't an iPhone 4 is it? It may have updated to iOS6 over 3G.0
