Into the overdraft now.

With about 400 more to come out before payday.Total Debt at LBM (Dec 12) 22,255.26

Posting figures for the end of July:
Current account: -800
Husbands account: 0
Mortgage overdraft: -7954.84
Credit card: -4318.10
Kitchen loan: -4812.90
Total: -17885.84
Not bad really but went way way into the overdraft.
August is going to be a tough month as husband had a bad month commission-wise so his pay will be low this month.
Plans:
Car boot this weekend and possibly next weekend too.
Try Aldi instead of Sainbos.
Try not to make the overdraft any worse than it already is!Total Debt at LBM (Dec 12) 22,255.26

My car insurance and Husband's car tax both due at the end of this month!!! How did I not know this?? The timing could not be worse - Husband's pay on the 15th is going to be really low and I haven't got anything saved for these.
So paying these will mean that we go even further into the overdraft. So from September I'm going to set up a standing order to another savings account to cover these expenses. I'm going to put by 50 I think. This won't cover all the expenses for both cars but at least its something.
I've been worrying a bit about Christmas. (In August??? Yes, I know! :rotfl: So I've started doing Swagbucks again and have 25 in Amazon vouchers for present buying so far. I also found a few stocking filler type things in the sales for the kids so have made a start there.
I just have to remember that this time next year things will be a lot better: Our kitchen loan will be payed off Sept 14, so after this September's payment I'll be counting down the year. Childcare costs will go down as both kids will be in school. Husband's sharesave scheme finishes.Total Debt at LBM (Dec 12) 22,255.26

Hi triple choc chip - you're right, my percentage isn't quite right. I noticed the other day that my spreadsheet wasn't quite right. A while ago I switched from start of the month figures to end of the month figures, but I didn't correct the kitchen loan part so we're actually a one payment ahead than we thought. Also did some cutting and pasting and it screwed up my formulas. Guess I'm not an accountant for a reason hey! :rotfl:Total Debt at LBM (Dec 12) 22,255.26

Yay! Up to 60 posts now!!
Been moving money (or overdrafts more accurately!!) around and we still don't have any money. It still adds up to the same amount of debt, whichever account its in!
This is the time I hate most. There isn't much of anything active I can be doing towards the debt until next payday so I just look at my spreadsheet and try to make it look better.
Husband gets payed on the 15th but its going to be really low. At least we already know that next months pay will be much better.Total Debt at LBM (Dec 12) 22,255.26

Found a couple of bits of old gold jewellery today and sold it for 31.50 :j
The car is loaded up and ready for our first car boot tomorrow. Managed to get the kids to agree to parting with some of the baby toys, just hope they don't come home with more than we sell!
Swagbucks is going OK. Got 30 in Amazon vouchers now. These are towards the kids birthdays and Christmas.
So money making is going alright. Shame the money spending is still happening at an alarming rate!
