  • Evening everyone

After another very busy but a good day at work today, I had the journey from hell home resulting in having to decamp from the train due to failure. Came in hungry, thirsty, cold, tired and with a headache. Feeling much better now after a cup of tea and have warmed up. Dinner is cooking (I am so grateful I spent some of the weekend planning and preparing food) and it smells yummy.

Spoon, thanks for updating and I wish you better soon.

Freeby, thanks for updating and my prize :D

Jelly, I have had a few viewings but no watchers or bidders but I have been reassured that activity usually starts nearer to the bids closing so I am hopeful for now but will let you know.

Hugs to those that need them.

Well done to everyone who has or are reaching their targets.

Day 19 for me today and I reckon I'm in credit too because I finally got round to taking back a top I bought on one of my spend days (it was in the sale) but it was a better off than on.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Yesterday sort of planned, friend cooked dinner for us both then watched a certain bond movie on the Tv demand thingy, she paid, but I took her a pressie which had been duplicated to me at Christmas. I was honest, but it was something she'd like too.

Ohhh, I did enjoy that particular one at the cinema when we saw it - considering buying the DVD too :o What did you reckon to it?

A question ..... on Wednesday evening I have to pay for my sons diving lessons, the money wont come out of my account until Friday (1st day of new NSD month) do I count Wednesday as a spend day or is it cheating to count Friday instead ???

Personally I'd count the day I hand over the payment, otherwise I'm likely to forget about it.
    Marmite

The question of Igor's origins has never arisen. He just turned up at Chateau Nargle one dark, stormy night, with an old battered suitcase, a set of highly-polished chef's knives, and a monstrous collection of recipe books including that well-known opus "Fanny Craddock Rides Out with The Hairy Bikers."
Apparently he is a distant relative of the Igors that feature in Mr T Pratchett's novels - obviously the cousin nobody talks about.

Anyway, he came, parked his gear in the dungeons and settled immediately into the role of cook, bottlewasher and general dogsbody, catering for NSD gang parties a speciality!

Eeeek, he isn't thinking of doing his daffodil version of moonshine again is he? As I recall last year a number of us who braved that not only lost several days in March but turned yellow to boot :D

Well, unlucky for some but NSD #13 for me today :j back at boot camp after a week off and my, that was a shock to the system (and bloomin cold too).

Planning to make mash for me and OH tomorrow, but only have 3 spuds in the fridge and don't want to buy more until I pass L!dl this Thurs, so any suggestions of how to make them go further much appreciated - unless I do jacket potatoes instead?
