Spend day today unfortunately, but the film at the cinema was brilliant. But I did get an 89p bag of popcorn and can of tango for 92p. Think the cashier made a little mistake. It was a cheapy shop but still 3p for a can of tango. :j
Just popping on to send more positive thoughts and vibes towards papworth for your dad nargle.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
((hugs)) and good vibes being sent wherever they've needed
and today takes my to #15 :T
I took some stuff to a local charity shop (DS had a clearout, and I rescued everything from ending up in the dustbin ), and spotted a gorgeous jumper. Had my purse with me, but didn't even ask how much! Did think I'd go back on my next spend day, but realised later that's going to be Friday and they're closed by the time I get home from work/swimming lesson
Speaking of work..... I'm out the door sooner that I expected
Was in for a PT session on Monday, and as I was leaving the manager called me over. There was a lady in asking about vacancies, and she's mad keen to start. I thought my notice period was a month (which was what I gave), but the manager says it's 2 weeks and that this is negotiable - so asked when I wanted to work til. Told him the only stumbling block to leaving soon than I'd said was that I've still got a couple of PT sessions paid for, money on my cashless card for 4 swimming lessons, and that I'm not sure I can justify keeping my membership running. So we've agree I finish this Friday, pay for the swimming lessons before I finish that day (so I get them at staff rates) and I can sneak in for my sessions even if I'm not paying membership..... means 3 more early get-ups for me, and then I'm freeeeeeeee :TCheryl0 -

I'd be careful about using the phrase 'sticking your beak in' after Igor's attempt at xmas dinner - the turkey is not supposed to be put in the oven 'as it is' :eek

They are definitely angels & i am truly blessed.... & i think i have met a load more angels in my new job too, a week in & already they really care, i can tell them anything & i feel like i have been there forever! Along with you guys i realise that no matter what problems i have i am truly lucky!

Will be at work tomorrow, and tomorrow is the big day for my dad. If anyone has any good wishes or healing vibes to spare, please point them in the direction of Papworth Hospital. (I know he will be fine, but it doesn't stop me worrying!)
Loads of positive thoughts and vibes headed towards Papworth for tomorrow Nargle and fingers and toes crossed for you and your Dad xxxThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I just got to work to find that the bag I'd grabbed on my way out of the door was not the one with my (delicious) lunch in, but a similarly-coloured one with some clothes. So now I have no lunch, and have had no breakfast, so today will have to be a spendy after all.
And I'd forgotten that I'd planned to meet a friend for coffee tomorrow. So that's out too.
So my total for the month will be 12/14, and I'm officially out now. Will hop over to March!MFW diary here. 1 Feb 2017 $229,371 - MFD Feb 2043  aiming for May 2028
