It's been a brilliant self-motivational way of using up cupboard and freezer foodstuffs. Basically, I did a cupboard stocktake and worked out what meals I could make most economically, bought the extra ingredients and batch-cooked to eat and then freeze the extra portions (freezer compartment was pretty much empty before that).
With the purchase of some 10p Whoops loaves (cut into 1-day or 2-day portions and frozen), enough cheese for month (keeps for ages, and cheaper that way anyway) and yoghurts (on special offer) that was pretty much it.
The 'no food spend' is getting tricky now, but I'm determined to last through tomorrow (and month-end) at the very least.

Bonjour :money: buddies!
I am back - Paris was lovely. Hotel was tres posh and only 1 street away from the Tower. It also snowed there for 1 day so very romantic! (Although choosing to go up the Tower in the snow wasn't my finest hour - i was too scared to go out!)
We were very good and spent less than we took, so have 90 euros to put towards spending money for Majorca in September
Anyhoo, back to the point, i racked up 4 more NSDs - taking my total to 22 and smashing my 2nd target!:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Final D/Debit went out of the bank today, so not an NSD for me.
Paid for last 3 swimming lessons, as had to add another £5.60 onto my card to have enough.
Hoping tomorrow will be an NSD, which will mean I've managed as many as in January - and astounded myself given there were 3 days less this month in which to gain them :TCheryl0 -
NSD 18 today, so that's my revised target achieved :j
And I'm going to try and grab a final NSD tomorrow too:)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
