Question about 3 sim only One Plan 12 month contract. 2GB or AYCE?
Options
I recently visited my local Three store in town and I was going to purchase the sim only £25 One Plan with 1 month contract but the salesman suggested the sim only £20 One Plan with 12 month contract. He told me that usually with the 12 month One Plan at £20 it only gives you 2GB internet allowance but he said Three were doing a deal where until the beginning of September this year the internet allowance on the 12 month One Plan would be unlimited All You Can Eat data. According to my account I am indeed getting All You Can Eat data but on the Three online store there is no mention of the 12 month £20 One Plan having All You Can Eat internet allowance. Instead it just mentions 2GB. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Well, I would never believe a word any salesmen says, but if your account says All You Can Eat, then AYCE it is.
The paperwork that you hopefully have has to say the same.0 -
According to my account it is All You Can Eat internet allowance. However according to the paperwork it's only 2GB. I smell a dead rat here0

3 do run promotions of this sort, why not contact 3 directly, (phone them or email them) and ask them to clarify what your actual account shows on their system?
Email is probably preferable as it will give you something in writing to keep for future reference.====0 -
i had the same question 2 years ago when i took out my iPhone contract, I phoned them and they confirmed i was on AYCE, something to do with a glitch on the systemWWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0

The 12 month £20/month is limited to 2 GB, and does not allow tethering.
The 1 month rolling contract at £25/month is all you can eat data with tethering.0 -
Hi,
The actual tariff is 2gb, however there is no charge for tethering or AYCE until at LEAST 1st September 2012. The salesperson was indeed telling you the truth
