Hmmmn - wondering if we should forget eu speech, economy shrinking,lords reform,boundary changes in bin - if theres one thing 'what done for the Cons' it'll be the upcoming petrol panic at the pumps - and that's the one thing Osborne can do absoliutely nothing about! (His policies have initiated a likely triple dip, shattered confidence, loss of triple a credit rating resulting in msking our currency more worthless which can be a good thing for exports, but not in this case! (petrol is bought in dollars, so is likely to now go up and up, the ONE thing neither Con nor Lab voter will EVER forgive! Dangerous times now for wobbling coalition, hope all parties are prepared for 'sudden events! EndGame for the CamOs duo?

Say what you like about them, but they sure knew how to close that one down quick as lightning! They had the political savvy to know voters expected help with petrol costs.Sadly, Osborne doesnt have that luxury - this is something he cant fix, theres nothing he can do about it since Obama won and petrol is bought in dollars and the fiscal cliff is temporarily addresed, making the pound weak. Expect this one to have legs - the petrol story that is - I think its going to be 'a developing story' over the next month as they say! When it gets out properly, Joe Public will feel betrayed and exploited while others tipple champagne in luxury ski resorts!

Remove all public sector pensions from 5 years hence including accumulated /deferred elements.

You don't seem to be able to get it through your skull that the public doesn't trust any of you. The political class - those addled-brained chattering imbeciles whose worldview hasn't shifted since the dawn of the 20th century - is loathed and reviled the length and breadth of the country.

Labour deliberately ramped fuel prices and the Tories are no better. There is nothing to choose between any of the three main parties. They are all liars, thieves and rogues.

So, yes, 'Joe Public will feel betrayed'. But he is used to it. Your party betrayed him at every turn, too.

None of that matters - how will voters feel on election day? How will they even get there? Whats left in their wallets/purses/housekeeping accounts? Thats all that matters on that one day - no outright win for Dave and Goves silly plans, eu ref all of it is binned! Petrol price increases could finish many lower middle class families off, what with travel to work'school/childminders - they just havent got it to spend!

You are wrong. People have short attention spans but not that short. They know that a vote for Labour is a vote for the same old same old - the same old lies, the same old corruption - even the same old faces.

Had you been out of power for ten years you might have got away with it. But you haven't been. People are faced with the vile Cameron, the imbecile Clegg, or the smirking halfwit Milliband and sooner or later the miserable turnout at elections is going to catch up with the lot of you.

The democratic deficit will be too extreme to ignore. Then we'll have some fun.
