Quick lick and spit......meaning quickly make yourself presentable.

My son has a strange one and must be modern..just going to drop the kids off...
Meaning just going for a male sit down job on the toilet.

Das was ....swish the water round with my hand..when he was going for a bath. Our modern version is ....off for a paddle.

The clothes horse thing is now what we call skinny models as the clothes just hang off them like they did when drying.
    V x

:eek::eek: going to make a call in the great white telephone

Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

Sandwich short of a picnic - bit thick

apple doesn't fall far from the tree - like their parent
