Random Question Time
Do any of you :A know of an mse way do unclog a bath plughole - it's running slow rather than blocked and I know you can buy those liquids that dissolve hair (which is what I'm assuming it is) but they are a bit expensive ... does bleach work the same? Or any 'old wives tales' that work?
TIA Paula
I googled the very same thing yesterday.
White vinegar and bicarb was suggested many times over.
We have a constant problem with a slow draining bath though and after all these years I've realised out bath drain pipe runs ever so slightly up hill before it leaves the bathroomHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

I think we are all familiar with the sayings like "a few slates missing" or "a screw loose" to describe someone strange or stupid.
More modern versions on this theme have been things like " a sandwich short of a picnic"
What about " a flump short of an APG" to describe some of the strange posters we get here?

All fur coat and no knickers. Meaning acts like they've got money but in reality they have nothing.
An MSE saying would be "a champagne lifestyle on lemonade money" (smart price lemonade that is a filler) :rotfl:Tiger
