And then on the quotes topic......

    Best one I ever heard......

I was walking past a group of somewhat upper class studenty young ladies..... you just have to imagine the way the lingo was spoken. a bit of a plum stuck somewhere me thinks!!!! Not sure what the topic of convo was about, the only bit I caught was.....

''Well it's better than a slap in the face with a wet kipper!''

Thats one i'll never forget. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OK, time to go, hope everyone is having a good day. No one worked out the sada cereal yet?

Hugs to those that need them. :)
  • They're gorgeous, your mum is very clever x

How were they made? Did she attach to the original bag? Also what sort of bag? Are they the Bags for life type please?

Asda used to do a bag like this, T's version was black

But the jute bags are better because they are a bit more rigid and again you can sew straight onto the flat panel.

    b3_zps4534f9c0.jpg

The material was just sewn straight on the the side panels of the black bags. But the green ones were completely covered and she also put a liner on the inside. I have no idea how - she can work wonders on an ancient sewing machine :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    ...............................................

  • What have you lot done to me!!! I very rarely play games during the day, but I am sitting here playing Candy Crush! Nice to have the spare time and thought about popping out on my bike, but it is not happening!!

Do any of you :A know of an mse way do unclog a bath plughole - it's running slow rather than blocked and I know you can buy those liquids that dissolve hair (which is what I'm assuming it is) but they are a bit expensive ... does bleach work the same? Or any 'old wives tales' that work?

If they were the black finest ones I still have some (they didn't last long though as the fabric seemed too thin) they had big ones with plastic handles and smaller ones which I still have although the plastic flat bit on the inside is missing.
Never thought of modding a bag, might have to give it a try :)

    Morning all :)

Did a Muller shop this morning, I bought 30 at 65p each. The multibuy has only taken off £2.10 and £1.20 when it should have taken off a total of £7.50. Can’t believe I didn’t notice this at the checkout but I’ll be back later to collect my £2 gift card from CS. Has anyone else had an incorrect multibuy on Mullers? Might be worth to double check if you’ve bought them recently.

    Results back in 25 mins

I bought 20 at the weekend but only one came off. I'm yet to go back and sort out my refund
