  • Evening all
Some of you may remember my slight annoyance at my cokes not comparing correctly yesterday, as had one of each diet and normal. Well this morning my OH was laughing at me about it, as his shop was all fine.
So this evening we went out and as usual off he goes with our 12yr old DD and I am left with our 2yr old DD. So I leave them to it and go find myself some nice boots ;)
Now who's having the last laugh when his shop comes back as not enough items. I ask what he did wrong and see that on the receipt there are 7 yogs same flavour. He looks puzzled and says he got the same as yesterday (buying yogs to keep at work) then says that he let our daughter scan them. And that explains it as she is prone to doing the wrong thing, even though she has done this with me a million times. (well maybe not quite a million)

Im totally joking, thanks for the info:)

just need crunchy nut offer back, I'm running low:(

Should have bought the five packs:eek::eek: that I bought the previous time M was on half price (and A at over £3) as part of my £40 (£5 off) A shop.

The Crunchy Nut 750g are still on, in theory. I went to not one but - count them - two! - different M's on Wednes. One of them did not have the 750g packs. The other one also didn't, but it had an empty space and a price SEL - £1.57 ('valid until 10/2'). Under the APG rules, if there is a SEL they still take the price even if it's out of stock in that store. You could chance a non-glitched shop vs M, including the Crunchy Nut, and then contact A about the N/A on the Crunchy Nut, pointing out M's do have a price label and the product is on offer at M until 10/2/13 and is at £1.57.

However, given the lack of any 750g or price label in one M and the lack of stock in the other, I've put this down as being an N/A for M and therefore not included it on my list. (It could of course be that I visited the second M very late in the evening and they had had the Crunchy Nut corn flakes but sold out completely of them by the time I arrived.)

I visited a second M very briefly and also to double-check the Kipling Viennese Whirls price - which I can confirm is back up to full again, although the APG may still have it at 65p.

This week the Kipling 5 Mini Battenburgs are on BOGOF £1.45 at M (works out better than 3vs S's 3 for 2 on them), so you might decide to include 2 x these on your Sada vs M crunchy nut shop. They will I suspect also come back as N/A but that can be part of the reference to HQ CS.

The Crunchy Nut 750g are, at the time of writing, on M's website - under half price offers and grocery at £1.57. They're clearly available in M at that price. Take a screenshot of the product and its offer price immediately! (And also tomorrow, when you shop for them in A again.)

Must say it has been a very entertaining day here today.

Were you born in a barn ........ when we left door open

Now I have a question about bulbs ( flower sort)
As is the fashion nowadays I am putting together gift bags for guests at grandaughters christening. Was perusing online and got the idea of putting a few bulbs in preferably ones that flower year after year. I thought it was a lovely idea.
Will not be for a flower called Olivia as can only find a rose.
Ideallyi would like something that can be planted straight away late feb early march.
Fairclaire and DM I know you love your gardens do you have any ideas as to what I can get. Summer flowering would be perfect as summer baby.
I did like the idea of snowdrops that would come up every spring as an annual reminder but can't find any.

    Be so grateful for ideas.
Have already ordered named chocolate bars but thought flowers be nice as more permenant.

    TIA

Oh and have a date with a radio presenter on 14th feb.was chatting and decided next thursday. Afterwards I realised the date and sent him a text offering to change day as it is an expensive one. But we have decided to keep to thursday.
Not been keeping up with this dating lark as had a lot on and money is going on christening but will be fun and of course will check in afterwards and dish the gossip to the nightcrew.

I personally would go for Lilly bulbs. The timing is perfect and they will give truly stunning flowers for years to come. They come in any colour you like. Plant any time from now til end if march for gorgeous summer flowers. Very easy to grow. Some have meaningful names, like roses....so have a look to find something that suits......my personal faves are stargazer lilies.

Oriental lilies tend to be bigger and have very strong perfume. Asiatic lilies are smaller, but just as pretty with less scent. Have a look here for some ideas
    http://www.jparkers.co.uk/c-g/lilies/

shop around the other online places for better or prices if you need. This one has a good selection to give some ideas.

I think it's an absolutely lovely idea :)

Thank you. Not totally sure if this is a reference to myself. However I notice the SP Sweetcorn tins coming out at more expensive - it's actually by 3p not 2p as I had said a few moments ago.

    However -
The incorrect number of milk was bought. It has to be in 3s, as M is £1.49 each and any 3 for £3.00. I don't know where the small Heinz tins came into it, as I've never mentioned those in my list.

I never suggested anywhere that anyone should buy the Fox Crunch Creams vs M. Nor did I mention the Alberto Shampoos on my last list. However, if I had, I would have made clear it's buy in 4s (M 4 for £3.00) for best price on them vs M and only certain comparable ones. The Haribo Tangfastics 160g are mentioned on my list and they compare correctly 50p vs 50p (perhaps this is part of the "may help" aspect). The Goldenfry was bought at the wrong time, and the wrong ham was bought. It should be the Sada SP Cooked Ham, not the Sada Wafer Thin (though now more expensive than it was when M were the only competitor still at £1.49 rather than the current £1.69 A, M, T and S).

    Many thanks.
