  • Thanks to op for heads up on debenhams final sale reductions. Managed to get a large plush mickey mouse for £7.50 but need 2 and it was 9the last one online.
Please if anyone sees the 17 inch plush mickey mouse in a debenhams I would be grateful for the heads up as can then phone store to have it sent down to mine.

My two little grandchildren are mickey mouse crazy and can't give to one without the other.
Have found the same on amazon but £5 more plus postage so debenhams is my best option. The one down here doesn't even sell toys.

    Loving some of these phrases!

My Aunty used to say "She's got a face like a wet weekend".

DS had new school shoes in Jan. We bought them in C14*ks - £50. They were from the men's dept, not the kids because the last 2 pairs of kids shoes were rubbish - the stitching came undone and I was told he shouldn't be wearing them in the playground!!! This new pair are now coming apart at the heel - the block of heel is layered and the layers have all split and come apart. So, off I have just been in to ask for a new pair. Thankfully I had the receipt.

Glad to say that I was given another pair, although not without a lecture. Apparently they are not obliged to give me new ones as the shoes have been worn to school, and they are designed for adult males to wear to the office!!!:rotfl: Bearing in mind he has only worn them for 21 days (yes I counted!!) I thought that a little rich. I wonder how long they expect them to last in an office environment? I was also told that if it happened again, I would not be given a futher pair as they are not being used for purpose they were designed for . I had to laugh.

Why can't shop assistants just apologise and give refunds. What is this need to tell the customer off?

Obviously there was a disclaimer above the shoes and you signed something to say they would only be worn in an office
I could understand it if he had been rock climbing in them or something like that but school :(
