Nikki great to hear Alfie on the mend....he is getting the best of care. Thanks for posting about the sada boots.....I will collect them from store tomorrow. I did a try on in store a few weeks back so I knew to go for the size 6 (size 5 slightly too snug). Going to be ever so slightly too big but a pair of marksies fluffy socks will do the trick;)never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0

 my gosh I only had about a tenth of that and now using the starter kits to replenish, what do you do with that amount unless you actually have babies, which as I type this I realise you probably do:o, forgive me only had one coffee so far (my excuse:rotfl:).
Yes, they've seen our 4 year old through the worst of it:D.0 -

Cleaning products especially for shower and toilet as inspections are strict.
Couple of tupperwares for food storage in fridge as others tend to take up space with mouldy milk and students not good at covering foodup.
I would say these are must haves, then collection of any glitchy wul, showergel, deoderants.
My daughter was in halls at Leicester and they supplied nothing.
Of course you may have things he can take with him at home already.
Argos had some great value quilt covers last week for around £3.
Tip for boys try to keep linen and towels the same dark colour as seperating washing into colours is alien and if dark doesn't show dirt as much lol
I know there are many here with uni kids that will have useful tips too.
Can opener and spatulas very good and he will probably need set of cutlery.
Getting a head start on supplies is a very good idea but the things he doesn't lose will be useful in years to come.
From reading on here next time t's do a £5 phone be useful as if like nikilalas son will need several replacements:rotfl:
Big congratulations to your son.
If he can get his reading list as early as possible you might be able to pick up secondhand books around may/june time.
Finally he will be needing his own clubcard of course.
V x
One of the most expensive things is he will need own tv licence
Fantastic advice VT - my son gets round the tv licence and he's in halls, I'll find out howI like glitching, I like glitching, I like glitching and I like to glitch.....................:j:j:j0 -
Morning all
Just about to go and catch up as I had a very busy day yesterday. Took dd to Morries, sada, mr shoes, maccys and mr t's!
The soup doesn't glitch in my morries although I did get 19 ellas pouches for 9p each in one transactionThey also have the vasiline retro tin for £2 and the Thompson tea for £1.50 (thank you again Markz123 - I actually shared the love and gave a lady in the tea aisle 2 coupons too).
If the couple that were in front of us at sada great bridge that used two £11+ apgs on small receiptsare on here  it was my daughter who threw her shoes at your leg!
Used up some of my mr shoes machine coupons. They only scan at the stores with the machines in them and my local doesn't so it was nice to not stand there while they work out how to manually take off the difference!
Got a control dress to go under my wedding dress at sada - thank you mr muller! Several wombles but only one gave anything - 63p!
