Morning all - just caught up. Nice and sunny here....but cold!

Bubbs - congrats at getting back home today - roll on 12 for you!

Marks123 - wow what a journey - glad to see that they have managed to manually realign bone - i will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Nikkilala - hope Alfie had a good night

Tinyshoes - thinking of you - hope all ok

Rosie123 - keep to your guns - your sisters need to experience the reality of 'looking after your mum" to begin to understand what you have done for the family.

Off to do quiz and some major tidyig up - DD having birthday sleepover Saturday, and out all day tomorrow on school trip with her. Going to a gret musuem Halifax way (forgotten name) but has all sorts of artefacts - class doing the Egyptians - last time we went got to handle some that were 4000 years old (and supervise the little ones with it) - briliant. Did History for 6 years post 16 but never got to handle anything ancient. Although now we are both the wrong side of 50 maybe OH qualifies as ancient artefact now :rotfl:
  • Bottom of the quiz

How the devil do I know who didn't make the play offs in 2004? :(

What a day yesterday, took 2hrs to get to hospital on the bus, saw the pastic trauma unit surgeon, he had big trouble realigning the bones, but after lots of pulling and tugging and sqeezing (and me nearly passing out) he managed to realign them, ive now got an even bigger cast with lots less movement, i will have to go back in 2 weeks for it to be looked at again, because if it hasnt set correctly i will have to be admitted for surgery...fingers crossed that they set ok..

then on the way home on the bus, the bus pulls into a bus stop and CRASHES into the bus shelter, pulling of part of the roof of the shelter and pulled the mirrors of the coach. we then had to wait for a replacement bus because it wasnt drivable.

    things can only get better.

ive had a quick scan read of yesterday....Hows alfie today

Oh Mark :( Your luck would rival unlucky Alf's at the moment.
Hope things get better for you soon, chin up old bean.
