No fish I'm afraid but a bit of chicken. :( Did get the usual fruit and flowers though but didn't take much as I'm well stocked for these for a week or two. Mrs A will have delighted work colleagues/students again tomorrow when they share some Mr Kiplings Rum and Raisin chocolate covered slices and a large Sponge Bob Square Pants party cake (£1 down from £10) :rotfl::rotfl: Expensive night tonight though as I spent £2.59:eek:

Although there's never a great deal there after 50% I did have the run of the meat reductions where I got the chicken but, not having any freezer space, I had to pass on some very tempting pork and beef.

Reductions on the meat, although good, weren't as good as usual. One of the other "friendly" regulars said the SAs had been instructed to only go to 75%-80% reductions...didn't realise that the department managers had that freedom but perhaps explains why some don't see the big reductions?

We had a lot of problems last night with the well organised "grab whatever you can and don't take any prisoners brigade" and rumour has it that not going to normal reductions was to deter that type.
Photos/videos, well hope it does deter them then we can invite TM for that picnic :D

oh Im trying to look on it in a positive way. It's nice to se him interested in something. I'll tag along until he feels comfortable being left to do it on his own.....there's an Asda along the road:D after all.

so the bigger picture is....drop OH at beach, go to As ( and any other shops of choice), pick OH up from beach :):D:rotfl:

On another note, he has been offered the chance to do some voluntary work with a local group for mental health sufferers. A place that he has been attending himself ( reluctantly). So I am working on convincing him that's a good idea

    It is
    Tiny steps
    Mission accomplished there
If he has time to decide let him go fishing and start enjoying life going out again and then his experience is invaluable to others in his boat so to speak. Not someone with a degree preaching (no dont all jump on me for that) but someone who has been there and come out the other side or at least well on the way.
Keep up the good work fc and how is that £20 hair looking now

Anyone with any Wombles etc. (outside NI) with T Cod Fillet (from the counter) on them - are they coming up reflecting the prices of £11.00/kg at T and £5.49/kg for M? This could be a good PP item if it works - don't want to have anyone paying £11.00/kg and it coming back N/A.
