Think DS1 has an ear infection :( Poor little boy said his ear hurt just before bed and only wanted Daddy to read 1 story - he normally has 3! He's just woken up crying and I feel so sorry for him.

Unfortunately DS1 won't take medicine. We normally manage to put it into a little yoghurt drink for him but he is too sleepy to drink it. Think we might be off to the doctors in the morning. Got to go he's crying again :(

This may sound strange ,but it does work....an old family member use to do this with her grand children and told us .

If you have fresh garlic in your house , slice 1 clove and fry it slowly in some olive oil.Let the oil cool down and then put a couple of drops in his ear.
We did this with our son a few weeks ago as he kept waking up crying even after calpol and nurofen...............he slept like a log after that.

    Good evening,
A little off topic, some time ago when some smartie's were glitch someone made something with them for a son/daughters 18th birthday.
I would love to see the pics again as my daughter is 18 in a few months and would love to try this as she loves smarties. Any ideas?
Hope someone can remember, it was sometime last year i think tia x
