  • Hi all, I've been following this thread for a while, "lurking in the background". As a recent ms convert I'm trying to do my shopping list for @sd@ and wondered if anyone can help? Hope u dont mind me asking? I think I've got the basics but in order to get the best apg do I only include items that are price comparable at one shop ie dearer items at s@insburys or can I also include items that only compare to te$co in the same shop... Or do I do those separately?? Hope this makes sense!! Any help greatfully received, Tia .

    Afternoon all!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to COT for the DW glitch :A:beer:

Wanted to give something back so just been to see if I can confirm the 4 DW tabs 2 Washing powders and IT WORKS :)
Seemed like a pretty good deal to me anyway? Can't upload so typed out my receipt:

    Finish All in 1 Lemon 26s 8.40
    Finish All in 1 Lemon 26s 8.40
    Finish All in 1 Lemon 26s 8.40
    Finish All in 1 Lemon 26s 8.40
    Persil Non-Bio Powder 25 Wash 7.51
    Persil Non-Bio Powder 25 Wash 7.51

    Sub-total 48.62

    Cleaners/Laundry 3f£10 -28.62
    Dishwash Tabs 2 f£12 -9.60

    total to pay 10.40

    HTH

Also works with 4xDW and 2x28 wash Persil Nonbio Small &Mighty liquid as just bought (£10.40 total so average £1.73 an item). Toilet rolls reduced in one Express and not another.

My friend uses dishwash tabs & i'm just off out with him. I know its a glitch but haven't paid attention as i don't have a dishwasher.
Would someone be kind enough to tell me if it is working in all Tesco where it shows 3 4 £10 or only Express??
I've written down the glitch but am going in 5 mins and don't know what stores or all its working in.
    Thank you so much ....................

Different stores have different offers at different times. So for instance, if you use mysupermarket, or the stores own websites, you'll find what is cheaper elsewhere, rather than at A's.

You are aiming to buy things that would have been cheaper elsewhere. But you do need to separate the bargains at different shops.

So, keep those items that are cheaper in S's, on one shopping list, and pay for those separately, and if other items are cheaper in T's, pay for those separately. Remember to buy at least 10 different items on each shop, just in case a couple aren't seen by the computer, as it has to show at least 8 items for the APG to work.

Yes well cheaper in one shop as in sainsburys
and make sure you have at least 8 seperate items (different barcodes) most of us go for 9 or 10 because for whatever reason sometimes the apg machine does not see something that you have bought and if it sees less than 8 it does not compare anything at all.
You can always throw a flump 10p ish, sp yorkshire mix about the same price in just to make sure.
Does not compare whoopsies so they dont count as one of your 8 as far as I know.
    Thats a start anyway ;)
