Evening night shift, I am all caught up nowGot Alfie home now:)Not the best news though:(He has a tumour in his spleen and they won't know if it's malignant till they take his spleen out. On the plus side they have scanned him everywhere and their is no sign on anything nasty anywhere else so whatever it is hasnt spread:) It's been bleeding internally which is why he's anaemic :(so on Tuesday hes having his spleen out and his bad tooth in the same op:eek:He's not to play about or run or anything in case he makes it bleed again and burst:(In the vets words "If its malignant and we take it out you have saved Alfies life"
Off now to give him a few cuddles as he's feeling very sorry for himself now with his shaved side;)
Poor darling Alfie. This vet seems very good though, I like the sound of him :j
I had planned on getting up at 8.30 this morning and taking dogs to kennel early then getting away down to Portsmouth well before lunch ........ but ....... Didn't get much sleep and got myself really down, keeping my head under the duvet despite hearing mobile and landline going. Eventually got up just before 1.30pm, got ready quickly, packed everything into the car, took dogs to kennels, called at car boot cafe to leave some money for furniture I'd bought on Sunday, and then set off about 3pm. Ot was very windy, especially on M25 so took longer than normal, but I got there ok, at 6.50. After unloading the car and having a delicious Ceasar salad Steve had made for tea, we all just relaxed for rest of evening
I pick up the hire van at noon tomorrow and we then have to load as much as we can into it, ready to take over to new flat on Friday, so going to be very busy
I heard from my sister that my brother has been offered a lovely one bedroomed bungalow, in a good location still near my sis and my niece, and on the bus route too :j. He is still living in Mam's 3 bedroomed council house at the moment so has loads to sort out ready to move, and he gets the keys on Friday  I have changed my plans now and will drive home on Tuesday then up North on Wednesday to help out up there, so will have to change kennel arrangements too now
Great to hear that you Mum was brighter today Tinyshows :j
Off to sleep now as getting up early in morning

The coven got the offer you where the first to reply who would be able to use it
Yes I guessed that would be the case. We also got one and DW said she can drop into Stokesley when passing on the way home from college. Probably wouldn't be worth driving all the way out to Stokesley and back to pick up a sample of hand cream no matter how good. There'll also be the hard sell on other products "while you are here" of course.
DW likes the L'occitane stuff but they must make far too much money on it. We were in the Leeds city centre shop a while ago and got as much freshly made fruit tea and glasses of wine as we could drink while we perused the merchandise.Awaiting a new sig0 -
