    It is my mum's birthday on saturday, already got her present ages ago the Gok Wan vanity case (Boots 75% off) and some M & S slippers £4.50 down from think it was £12. Not sure she will get to use either now, so might have to sort something else.

    Just to quote myself not sure of the logistics of holding an 80th birthday party in hospital either so any ideas greatly appreciated. Don't think will be allowed to light any candles won't smoke alarms be set off?

    Could well be oxygen around but have a word with nurses/sister I am sure they will let her have a great time :A
