Sky +
Does anyone know, if I stop my Sky subscriptions, will my sky box work on the basic channels like ITV and will the sky+ still work to record? TIA
I didn't pay my bill  and I still got the free channels, there are more than you think! Others say you lose all your recordings but I didn't, they were there but I just couldn't play them. Also you can't record or do the live pause and rewind thing either. You can still set reminders and get TV guide though.
I now subscribe again and am able to watch all the things I recorded before. May be best just don't pay the bill lol then re activate it later, there was no problem doing that and when I reactivated it it was back with Sky channels while I was making the call!
PS Thanks COT :T:T:T got 6 x 26 tabs tonight at least a years worth so thrilled!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -
Evening all. another busy day with one thing and another. Haven't caught up yet but a big thanks to COT for the DW tabs. Risked the 26 and worked. Got some more bargains at Dunelm MIll today, shoes from Barrats (thanks OP) and more whoopsies at T tonight. Off to catch up and make some dinner. By the time I get back everyone will be in bed so I may as well say goodnight now:rotfl::rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0

When she was at the till the sa looked confused so she asked what was wrong , the sa showed her £5.20. So she ran over and said to get another 3, the sa looked even more confused when only 40p was added to the total
We know her so she let us have them but said she would have to report it.
They took the sel's off the shelf but left the tabs so I went up with my brother later to get him some, he mixed 2 x 26+26 and 4 x 26.:)
then i went back in and asked a young lad if he had any more out the back. he returned with a box of 6. he said are they going through cheap then as no one gets this many. i said can i have them he said yes but there is one more 6 box out back and id like to get them for his mum. so i told him to get all six for £5.60 he was well chuffed. he could have checked my transaction anyway so i helped him. (good for future glitches)then he started telling me about how he found some hidden chocolates that scanned at 1p a few months ago.
i thought one of us must have hid them lol0 -

Lol. I'm such a dunce:rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm not actually that bothered about getting it for myself truth be told. Would be a shame for it to go to waste though so if you're going to be visiting the shop anyways do let me know...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

6 @ £8.40 = £50.40
Cleaners/Laundry 3F£10 -£30.40
Dishwash Tabs 2 F£12 - £14.40
Total Savings - £44.80
Total To Pay = £5.60
So I got 156 tabs (0.03p a wash) :rotfl:
Um, 156 tabs at £5.60 is 3.6p a wash.
I use Daisy powder as the tablets don't seem to dissolve properly on an economy run.

This stuff works out at about 5p a wash as I use slightly less than the recommended 40g a load.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
