Does anyone know, if I stop my Sky subscriptions, will my sky box work on the basic channels like ITV and will the sky+ still work to record? TIA

You'll get reception on the free channels but no other function ie recording, will work.:(

6 boxes of 26 is £5.60 too, you can also mix if only a couple of 26+26

You'll still get the basic channels, but you won't be able to record anything.

Anything that you have recorded and stored will be wiped. Someone one here - think it was MrsB posted a possible work around that by pulling out the phone line cable first and keeping it disconnected for 3 months and your recorded programmes are not deleted. I have no idea wether that works though.....
