I'm not bothered about doing it Tweets and I think she'll get her knickers in a twist there just as much as at the vets to be honest.:( It's whether it's an infection or something worse thats making me think we'll end up at the vets.

I've cooked her some fresh dabs i bought in Morries this afternoon so Hubby is going to feed her bits of fish from the front whilst I do the deed from behind if all goes according to plan!!!

Ive not caught up from this afternoon, so hope there has been some better news about Alfie xxx

Edit......Just seen Nikkis post. Poor Alfie, but lets hope it's not malignant and has been contained in the spleen, will be thinking of him next Tuesday xxxx

:( Sorry if not reading this right but are you having problems with Purdy's bum glands?
My previous dog Poppy regularly had to have a bum squeeze. Once they did get badly infected so ended up having them removed :)
I stupidly left the flower pot off her head & she licked the stitches out :eek::eek: had to be stapled back together & flower pot worn! She could scoop cat food dishes up with it :rotfl:

Hmmmmm. Sounds like it's time to open Happy's bar, get the booze flowing, drink a toast to the absent landlord and get the coins out for the jukebox!

  • First visit- Tesco extra!!!
Found 3 boxes of 26+26 and they went thru at 3 for £10

    Second visit - Tesco Express
Found 2 boxes of 26+26 and I added a 26 box to get them for £5.20. Kicking myself that I did not add another 3 boxes of 26 to get them all for £5.80. Aw well I did OK.

Thank you so much to COT for this find.

    Hey all,
Huge hugs to all of those that need them (I know there's quite a few at the moment)
Not been about for a while as been out of sorts (did post a few days back but was having a really bad day and probably slipped under the radar so took a few days out to try and pick myself back up)
Seen a few people are feeling the same as me at the moment, lack of anything good seems to have made us lose our mojo, we need a serious pick me up and soon!!
I've been seriously down for the last week, really hating it at the moment :( car has cost us £700 these last 2 days just to keep it on the road, found out yesterday there's a small possibility of being made redundant sometime in the future (I'm currently on maternity leave from work) and everything just seems to be getting me down (sorry for the moan)
Anyway, thanx QoC for the nice new thread, here's hoping it's fruitful!! I think a lot of us need a good pick me up!
On the plus side, I went wombling for the first time yesterday - it's taken me this long to pluck up the courage to do it (found 2 but not heard anything back from PP yet) so I took my teenage Son wombling for the first time tonight, he has eyes like a hawk :D it was so funny as he's learnt so quickly and he was cursing that we didn't find any (I promised to go halves with him on anything we get)
I hope I'm still welcome here, I could really do with friends right now to keep me going. I'm sorry if I sound so negative, just hating not having many people I can talk too :(
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Fully understand this lack of oomph.Definitely lost mine now. Ventured out of the house for the first time in a week for whoopsie time (work & illness got in the way before that). Yet again, nothing there. No wombles, or receipts or CC points.

    No Buzz campaigns.

    No Blinkbox extra points.

No need of finish glitches as no dishwasher.

    Coupon folder practically empty.

Haven't used Welch's as they should only have been used for chilled white or rose, our store stocks neither.

Just pretty hacked off that however hard I try, there is no way to save money/get CC points/APG's/PP's. Last 2 receipts I wombled were for spends over £150 and guess what, in both instances, T's were cheaper by pence.
Not a lot going on if you are fussy and I am talking about myself here but recently Ive had the bath creme and wul oh and free loccitane hand cream email just came through :D last but definately not least my precious

Missed out on barretts boots and finish tabs but still had the thrill of the chase just not quick enough this time.

But asda needs to get its act together and make the apg machine start glitching again preferred the trigger type as some real bargains there. :T

This double discounting type of glitch is usually fixed by the next day. If you want some, try going this evening.

I'd love to go out tonight but hubbys still at work and kids are in bed :(

dipdap don't apologise :). There is nearly always someone on here so don't be afraid to talk. Lots of people feeling down at the minute :(.
Have a hug from me and stick around :)

Hope this helps a little bit :A
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back
