My luck was in this afternoon I went shopping in the Aberavon shopping centre after visiting the first shop I went to the cashpoint which is in the middle of the centre got some cash and then went to the Iceland store which was at the other end of the centre bought my goods and gave them my Iceland bonus card and I didn’t notice my debit card so then after checking my wallet twice and then my pockets about three times I realized I had lost it so I asked them in Iceland if anyone had handed in a bank card no luck but I had paid with cash there anyway so then retracing my steps I asker the centre security if anyone had handed it in no luck there so I thought I will have to cancel the card then as I approached the cashpoint I remembered I had put my wallet and the cash on the counter of a caf! to put the cash etc. Into my wallet so I asked the staff of the caf! if anyone had handed in a card again no luck then I glanced at where I had stopped to put the money in my wallet eureka there it was ra ra ra

I did something similar with flight tickets once. Flew into Terminal 1 Heathrow and had to go to the airline CS desk re baggage damage and then caught the transit bus across to Terminal 4 for a flight to Australia. Hadn't been on the bus long when I realised I couldn't find my tickets or passport :eek:and had an agonising journey in the rush hour to T4 and then back again to T1 hoping that someone had found them and handed them in (this was in the days before mobile phones were commonplace).

Went back to the CS desk but as I approached I saw that the shutters were down and it was closed. Panic set in but to my relief I saw the tickets and passport lying on the counter in front of the shutters:j Back on the bus again and got back to T4 just in time to catch my flight:)

Since then I check, recheck and check again any tickets etc that I'm carrying to the point that it's become obsessive:rotfl:

I'm on the look out for new contracts and came across that this morning. Does look good to me for a £10 outlay, even for use in a spare phone. There must be a catch somewhere?

Can I ask if anyone here with ovivo mobile. Seems too good to be true. Thinking of signing up. Tia x

My worry would be if ovivo fail what happens to your number. But then I guess it depends how precious you are about your mobile phone number.

    Quiz question.

If you click on "standings" you can then view your cumulative score for the month so far. So doing that tomorrow will give the score for January so far. Doing it on 1st Feb it will say ('cos I tried it in previous months) no history yet. So how on 1 Feb do I get the score for all of January?

Get up really early and view it before it changes to feb. I'll have look if i'm up early enough and take screen shots.

But then it won't include the 31 Jan???

I'm on a personal challenge to get in the top 20 and at the moment I'm in position 20.

I wouldn't use it for my main number. The other thing it might be good for is in a tablet for data? Don't know anything about whether tablets take a special SIM or not...just a thought.:)
