Just had an email from blinkbox confirming the 1000 clubcard points but I suppose it's better to wait until the 22nd Feb to make sure they've gone on.

    Thanks, me too :j x

Just up the road from me. Was last in there about a year ago. Food and ambience usually good but I always think it's a bit pricey. Then again I think everywhere is a bit pricey these days...just some are more pricey than others:rotfl:

We used to go regularly for sunday lunch - have risked it and bought a deal so 2 steak meals for £14

Afternoon, hope everyone is having a good day :)

I tried to do my first t v (whoever)shop today, i really didnt have a clue what to do, i did it because i had seen the xbox live offer (which i dont understand) and i also had a Welsh's coupon!
I looked all over the shop for xbox offer but no joy...I managed to get the best of the Welsh's coupon by buying a carton for 75p and getting the rest off my bill...but if I'm honest I really have no idea what I'm looking for,,,

It was an epic fail, i really had no idea what i should be putting in the trolley....is anyone available for mentoring duties??

I shop in A more than T but if there are no shopping lists you want to copy then I would make the list of the items I want and then check the prices if items are cheaper somewhere other than T buy in T to get the difference back (need 8 different items) and only target 1 shop at a time or do separate shops to maximise the return. Hope this is a little clearer than mud !

My luck was in this afternoon I went shopping in the Aberavon shopping centre after visiting the first shop I went to the cashpoint which is in the middle of the centre got some cash and then went to the Iceland store which was at the other end of the centre bought my goods and gave them my Iceland bonus card and I didn’t notice my debit card so then after checking my wallet twice and then my pockets about three times I realized I had lost it so I asked them in Iceland if anyone had handed in a bank card no luck but I had paid with cash there anyway so then retracing my steps I asker the centre security if anyone had handed it in no luck there so I thought I will have to cancel the card then as I approached the cashpoint I remembered I had put my wallet and the cash on the counter of a caf! to put the cash etc. Into my wallet so I asked the staff of the caf! if anyone had handed in a card again no luck then I glanced at where I had stopped to put the money in my wallet eureka there it was ra ra ra

First tip - keep reading this thread, you'll glean a load of information. When people post shopping/ wombling receipt results take not of anything you might normally buy and the cost and where it compares to and is is favourable.

T's pp's I consider a bit risky because they seem to make the rules up as they go along, one day things will compare then won't for no apparent reason, they also have a habit of pp's not coming back - they just go missing.

APG's offer a bit more certainty - 3hrs and you will get a result and they use my supermarket so you can check their price against the competitors (except M's) and make up tailored shopping lists. Always stick to A's v one other shop and be prepare to do several shops in one go :D Always keep checking MyS as prices tend to change, keep checking right up till you go shopping - it might be a pain but it is so worth it - you could easily ruin a very good APG by getting caught out. A's also offer a 10% cheaper guarantee - so if your shop costs £40 and it costs exactly the same in T's (and dearer against other competitors) you will get an APG of £4 :D:beer:

You'll soon get the hang of it, stick with us :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
