I need a bit of advice, girl 2 doors down has complained to my neighbour about my female dog barking while I'm out. I know some of the time it's because they lock themselves out in the yard so have started propping the door open but they've now learnt how to move whatever I use out of the way and close the door.
The last thing I need is a complaint going into the housing association or the dog warden but other than locking them in the kitchen everytime I need to go out or just staying in I don't know what to try.
The neighbour was very good about it, she managed to persuade them to let her speak to me before going to the dog warden but they're complaining about daytime noise, they've been quiet most nights for the last week, I'm at my wits end.
It's not like I'm out for hours at a time, one of the times they're complaining about is during the school run and I'm only gone 20 - 30 mins, my longest is a Monday and a Wednesday 3hrs from 2.30/3pm until 5.30/6pm depending on the day. The rest of the week I'm in unless I've got to run out to deliver something.
I just don't know what else to try, going to give locking them in the kitchen a try while I'm at my mums for dinner. I'll give my mobile number to the neighbour so she can call me if they do start that way I can head home to see why they're playing up.
TIA

Just a thought but if she is trying that hard to get to you what about recording your voice saying things to her/singing etc and leave a gap of a minute or two in between it and leave it playing on a cd in the other room and that way she may still think you are there.
We always leave the radio on, Bertie doesn't like Blondie :rotfl:
Melting :j what a slushy icy mess though
But still plenty of snow on our lawnSomething unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Hi
Im not sure what im looking for, this was a shop from yesterday that i done, the cupa soups are on offer 2 for 1.50, how will i know if its a glitchy multi? sorry not done this before. Tia x
Hi if it is a multibuy glitch day the multibuy price would show on your receipt but on the price check online would show a full price comparison e.g when it was glitching the coke zero was 2 for £2.50 at ASDA but on the price check Asda website it was showing as comparing at full price £1.98 each.
So your soup would have shown as full price on the price comparison not £1.50 if it was a glitch day.0 -

Thats not much of a solution. So if my neighbours new born baby cries at night she should get rid of it should she.I think not.
My young neighbours have 2 dogs that live in a cage in the conservatory most of the time. They are locked in when they are out and never go for a walk. Sometimes they cry and bark for up to 6 hours and only stop when they come home. She told me he has a bad drug habit and they are always fighting and often storm off in a huff so dogs tart up, One night they barked until 2.30 in the morning and I ended up sending her a message on Facebook just when she came home. They seem oblivious to the nuisance and a couple of our other neighbours are annoyed by it too.
So I am going to ask them again to sort it or I will ring RSPCA this week. They only got the dogs to annoy each other ( she got one and then he got one to spite her!) and should not have a dog.0 -
