    TBH that ad is obviously wrong
    why would anyone get/want to external optical drives with a desktop?

    No ones fussed about that but speakers and webcam are standard when you are buying a premium spec pc with a monitor that has no inbuilt speakers or webcam :)

    Hi again guys sorry i need more advice!

    I just spoke to littlewoods again and explained that i was unhappy with being sent lower spec speakers and webcam ( and explained the speakers were faulty which i admit is not their fault ) only to be told i had accepted them by phone last week as a replacment for the ones i should have got and that i now have no rights in that regard!

    They told us last week that it was a mistake in the advert and that the speakers and the webcam were now on their way but they didnt say they were a totally differant make, setup and quality :/

    I have compalined and told i will be contacted this week by another team, any help? i feel like telling them to take the whole thing back and just go elsewhere! so frustrating

    Yes tell them to provide a recording of the phone call where you were made aware they were lower spec and where you agreed to this change in terms.

    OP, it might also be worth asking if they have a record of you agreeing to accept speakers that did not work. ;)

    OK, it might not be Littlewoods' fault that the speakers don't work, but it certainly is their responsibility to supply a working product.

    I would be insisting that they supply equal quality goods to those originaly advertised.

  • Just a update on this was told we would be contacted by last weds and we havn't so have no emailed all the info to to the email address the rep supplied above and asked for the item to be returned as quite simple we give up

    They argued that we could not return the computer as we had turned it on ( we didnt expected missing speakers and a webcam to be such a issue to get resolved ) so any advice on what to say?
