Virginmedia Broadband, contract up.

Ive been with Virginmedia for 4years and im currently paying £19.65 (Was £18.50 but next bill is for £19.65) for 10meg unlimited virginmedia (broadband only) and i am phoning them tomorrow to cancel as my contract is up.
Does anyone know any cheaper Broadband deals out there please?
I dont really want a home phone but dont mind getting one if it works out cheaper with the Broadband.
Many thanks
Kev

    Hi Kev,
we've switched to Sky just before Christmas (still awaiting installation as we struggle to find days when someone is in) and originally they offered us £24.50 pm but with 6months £10 off so works out £19.50. Went to Virgin to cancel, they offered £18.65. went to Sky to cancel and they've just offered me £50 credit on my bill which takes monthly cost down to £15.33! Get yourself on moneysupermarket, find a cheap deal then ask Virgin what they can do, hopefully you save yourself the hassle of actually switching!

Hi Katzen, many thanks for your input, i will get on Moneysupermarket and see whats what in a bit. I just hate the fact that Virginmedia look after their new customer's more with cheaper deals, than they do with ther long term customers. If they are not willing to do me the same deal for £15 then im definately leaving them and getting the deal somewhere else.
    Take care an thanks again

o2 broadband is cheap, reliable but you need a landline
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
