  • ah see thats not nice either

Kelly - perhaps you could sort your story out first - rather than having a go at me again?

Who mentioned a Compromise Agreement first?
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
  • i really am sorry. and Sambucus- since we are now quits can we shake and start again?
  • and just to add. before i am now ignored by the looks. i was the model employee before the stress, over work, exploitation and neglect took its toll. i do not and have not lived on benefits. my husband serves the country and i support that, live life as as single parent for the good of the counrty. i am not some dole waller, nor do i go around "crying" anything or give anyone the run around.

i raised my work issue, it was ignored by my boss.

no procedure to follow so i go up the ranks to my bosses boss.

i then get trust issues toward me (after over a years solid graft) and it can't be fixed (by my boss not everyone).

rang acas. put my grievance in with the above on advice from them.

    got suspended.

later got a "gross misconduct" for letting off steam outside of work but i feel its more the issue of going over my bosses head which was listed second.

i worked my !!! off for them. i got paid. why should i expect any form of decent treatment huh? guess thats life.

This whole disjointed ramble over 12 pages is getting almost impossible to follow.

Can I suggest you spend an hour creating one post that sets out as simply as possible exactly where you are now and who has said what to whom.

Please do you very best to keep the emotion out of it and just list the facts as simply as possible.

I'm sure Daisy will return later or tomorrow (as she said) and advise you how to proceed.

If she is willing then I think it is better if she alone advise you as the more people that become involved the more disjointed it becomes.

Hopefully others will agree and refrain from posting.

    All the best

    Indeed!!

Not often I disagree with you! I suspect you were more diligent than many of your profession! I have seen plenty from "professionals" that are so obviously a bad copy and paste job or lifted straight from the net and given five mins work by a junior!

Or anything else we should know about?

no nothing. i have done as i am told since i got on here. followed the agreed advice.

they offered me the grand, months pay and 250 to legal fees.

i asked if the wages were tax free, he didnt know.

i asked if they would have the agreement drawn up. they said they had an agreement they have lifted off the internet "but its legal" i have to have it seen by an independant to make it legal.

they didnt give it to me, or read it to me - i said so what happens now, he said well have a think about it. i said i would and would get some advice, he said ok close of meeting, i thanked him and i left.

Kelly - that original £9k and CA suggestion of yours - that was BEFORE you were then offered £1k + wages, wasn't it?
' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".

I think your expectations/interpretation of the role were a bit off :
    - you were there less than a year and half
    - most of the tasks seemed fairly reasonable
    - they gave you really child-friendly hours and time off for child speech therapy
    - you were an entry level support role, designed to make life easier for CD etc... that didn't pan out
    - the CA text stating not under new job offer - is to cover hacked off employee chucking a toys out of pram - getting new job then milking it.... fine line...

They new job hours are longer and lower pay, it might be a good idea to judge your role/place and assess what that says.

LazyD is a bit of an angel and good at playing black if the opponent is white.... but to be honest given the sordidness of this situation - a non-negative reference and clean start might be the goal....

if i'd have been involved - yep also out....

    yes it was
  • I think your expectations/interpretation of the role were a bit off : the role was 2 day a week admin assistant. it increased to full time everything? expectataions/interpretations were misjudged because no clear deal or written anything was given.
    - you were there less than a year and half
    - most of the tasks seemed fairly reasonable - in a 33hr week? 50hrs - open ended? if you saw my job layout i posted only a superperson could do it. not an assistant, single parent with 2 kids.
    - they gave you really child-friendly hours and time off for child speech therapy this wasnt clear either - luck of the draw on the day but luckier than some you might say
    - you were an entry level support role, designed to make life easier for CD etc... that didn't pan out panned out fine till they asked me to rebrand the company and produce new modern literature and website with no extra time allowed
    - the CA text stating not under new job offer - is to cover hacked off employee chucking a toys out of pram - getting new job then milking it.... fine line... just followed acas advice wth offer. am i supposed to not seek new work now i know i will never go back?

no problem. there is no graphic design. always thrived when a days work was indeed a days work for the time allowed.

with respect. you have only seen half the post. i have deleted a lot incase it was too recognisable.

no I haven't only seen half, I lurked on the whole thread. I did see the letters - I would drop the impression they'll want you back after the hand delivered letter (they think you crossed the line - and the lad you gave a lift home to is willing to them back them up that you threatened to sabbotage them). Quit while ahead and if you can get a reference count yourself lucky.
