Call Orange, it's £20 and you need an Orange phone number to request it from.

I have a BS to English dictionary ;), what that means is the unlocker doesn't have the correct equipment or the phone has no unlocking solution. There is nothing special with the lock on EE phones.

    What phone was it?

  • It is an iPhone 4 and a Sony experia. She didn't even look at them in all honesty I just asked how much and she said they couldn't! Never even got round to asking about my sons as he has locked himself out of the phone.

    Actaully, there is.

Look at the Nokia Lumia 800 for example, Voda/O2 ones easily unlocked by third parties.

    Orange/T-Mobile ones, nope.

iPhone 4 is no solution except the network (which goes for all network phones), depending on the Xperia model, again no unlocking solution for some, no matter which network.

Not according to XDA, it seems to depend on the bootloader, not the network lock.

    For example
If you have the Qualcomm bootloader you can use NSS 0.50 to unlock it (the post in a few posts down in this forum). If you don't have the Qualcomm then currently the only way to unlock it is to get Orange to do it
