The flawed Work Capability Assessment is causing 32 unnecessary deaths a week by forcing the long term sick and disabled into work or work-related activity.
It is also causing untold misery and fear for the country's most vulnerable. We call for its cessation now and to be replaced by a more holistic and humane system.
Why is this important?
We want justice for all those who've died as a result of harsh Welfare Reforms and who are listed on Calum's List and Peter's List, each with their own heart-breaking story. Human beings who had disabling and life-threatening conditions and had to live their last days or weeks in fear and harassment of having their entitlements withdrawn.
Yes, entitlements, because every human being in a civilized society is entitled to financial security and having their needs met.

Don't go too far with this idealistic thinking - you will probably end up getting arrested!!0 -
I plan to buy a book about protecting yourself as an Activist/Activists because of various ways the Government monitors Activists, from Policemen infiltrating groups, sex scandals, to FITwatch. There is also legal resources online made by Lawyers to support. All the same 1984 and Cameron making it illegal to protest to protect the rich.

The headline is unfortunate, and inaccurate.
People can be quite fit for work, and die shortly after an assessment.
Arguing that any death after a WCA failure is due to that failure is an extreme stretch.
Is this the case for some - certainly.
I cannot find a reliable source for the 1666 number.0 -
Do you lot seriously believe this??!!!!If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0

You best option would be to ask the Daily Mirror for a copy of their FOI request.
I cannot find any info on the 1666 number on the web either.Child of a Fighting Race.0
