Which one I choose?
I've always run a PAYG phone, with the same sim card (though different phones) for ...ohhh about 18 years. (it's tmobile though it was one2one back in the day!)
I bought then phone, stuck my old sim in, pay £10monthly and get a package with 600 texts and 2 hours of calls and that does me nicely.
However, i'm thinking about moving to a contract where i 'feel' i'll get a free phone, and more texts/minutes for the same price, but they options are just to confusing!
I don't want internet but do want a camera & the ability to send pics, other than that i really don't care. I do want to keep my current number and somehow 'transport' all my address book. So if you can help, what the best phone/package deal out there at about £10 monthly?
Thanks

The market is quite volatile at the moment, I would buy a SIM free mobile and go with a one month rolling contract SIM... That way you are able to fairly easily change to another operator with only 30 days notice to quit.0

The phones are hardly ever 'free', especially if bought from networks directly, not through third parties like CPW, p4u etc. The monthly price for a contract with a phone is usually higher than for a similar sim-only contract and it's likely to be a contract with a longer minimum term....

To send pictures you use either picture messages or e-mail. Picture messages are usually not included in tariffs. E-mail uses mobile data allowance.I don't want internet but do want a camera & the ability to send pics, other than that i really don't care. CPW offer 'free' basic smartphones on £7.50 talkmobile contracts (vodafone network). They are good value for money, but allowances are small. I think you can also get some TCB/quidco cashback.
Porting your number to the new network and transferring contracts to a new phone is usually not a problem.0
